Reports for 2020 walks

January 7th

Rosy led a walk starting in the car park near the Church in St. Dominick turning left at the entrance and along the road for a short way. We next followed a lane to the right which took us towards the building which used to be known as toys in the wood. Here we took a right turn and walked a few yards towards Cotehele along the road from which we took another right turn up a track into woodland. We circled around and in a short time rejoined the road back to St. Dominick and the car park. The Who'da Thought It Inn provided tea/coffee and snack lunches for a content bunch of walkers who all agreed it was a perfect walk for a dismal day in January. Thank you Rosy.

January 14th

This walk was cancelled out of respect for Rosy who died suddenly the day after taking us on a walk at St. Dominick.

January 21st

Malcolm led a very successful walk around Burrator Reservoir. We were fortunate to have dry weather. The reservoir was beautiful, calm and reflected the surrounding countryside even without the sun. Thank you Malcolm

January 29th

Norman's walk was postponed so that members could attend Rosy's funeral in Truro.

Feb. 4th

A walk from The Hurlers Car Park, Minions to Gold Diggings Quarry/Lake will take place to collect donations for Lupus in Rosy's Memory.
