Chair Based Excercises
This is a fun way to improve fitness, for those starting with low fitness levels, or with conditions preventing them remaining physically active in other ways. People of our age know muscles go flabby if not exercised, but maybe most of us don't appreciate that our brain stays in better shape as well when we do physical exercise! In the class we enjoy getting in shape with circulation - boosting, mobilising, flexibility and strengthening exercises, many done to music. We also have some standing exercises where appropriate, with the emphasis always on working at your own level.
