Dates for your Diary
Meetings
Mon Sep 9th James and Sarah Ellison will give a talk on “Self Sufficiency” as practised from their home at Farlands small holding in Hayfield where they grow fruit and vegetables, have an orchard and also look after chickens and bees. A MUST for all gardeners.
Mon Oct 14th Bill Whitehouse from the Derbyshire Cave Rescue Organisation will give a talk about the very successful rescue of the children trapped in the caves in Thailand last year. He didn’t go on the actual rescue himself but co-ordinated events from this end. It promises to be a very exciting talk.
Mon Nov 11th Another visit from Mike Storr who will entertain us with more tales of his favourite music hall laughter makers. This will be his second visit to us but the content will be different to his talk last June.
Mon Dec 9th At the time of printing this event is currently under discussion and details will be circulated when a decision is made. Please note the date may change
