Paying your subscription online
- Log in to your bank’s website. (Similar procedure applies if using a banking app on your phone)
- Proceed to "Payments /Transfers"
- Proceed to where you can select recipient if you have paid Burnley and District u3a before or, if you haven't, to where you can enter new payee details:
- Name of payee: Burnley & District U3A
- Sort code: 30-99-50
- Account number: 52972960
- Your reference: (Initial and Surname) If you do not complete this item we have no record that you have paid.
NB: The Account is held at LLoyds Bank
- Proceed to where you can make a payment and choose Burnley U3A as the recipient.
- Insert the sum you wish to pay for your subscription. Confirm the details and proceed to payment.
- Your bank will have security procedures in place and may phone you to confirm the payment. Following this your payment should be completed.
- Fill in an enrolment form for the new year. Mark it “Paid online” and either post or pass it to the membership secretary at the address on the form so your membership can be recorded. Alternatively, attach a copy of the online form to an email and send it to burnley.district.u3a@outlook.com, making sure you say "paid online" in your email.
Please note: As a registered charity, Burnley and District u3a can claim Gift Aid on membership subscriptions, boosting our income by 25p for every £1 collected and helping to keep the annual cost of membership as low as possible. If you are a UK taxpayer and would like us to claim Gift Aid on your subscription (at no cost to you) please ensure you mark the relevant box on the enrolment form. Your £20 membership subscription will be worth £25 to your u3a.
