MEMBERSHIP FEES
The membership year of Buckhurst Hill u3a runs from 1st April to the following 31st March
Single Annual Membership is £20.00. This includes a Capitation Fee to our national organisation which is currently £3.50. (Any alteration to this fee will be announced in our monthly newsletter). Our national organisation, The Third Age Trust, provides a wide range of services and benefits, including liability insurance cover.
If you are applying after the start of the membership year, the fees are as follows:
• From 1 July: £15.00
• From 1 October: £10.00
• From 1 January: £5.00
TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF MEMBERSHIP
Members will:
• Abide by the Aims and Guiding Principles of the u3a movement.
• Always act in the best interests of the u3a and never do anything to bring the u3a into disrepute.
• Abide by the terms and conditions of the constitution.
• Treat fellow members with respect and courtesy at all times.
• Comply with and support the decisions of the elected committee.
• Advise the Committee of any change in your personal details.
PRIVACY STATEMENT
Your personal details will be held on a secure database and will be used solely for the purposes of administration and the communication of u3a matters. They will never be supplied to an outside agency or party other than for you to receive Third Age Matters by Direct Mail. Full details of our data protection policy are included in the attached "Data Protection and Privacy Policy" which can be found on the right of this screen.

Please download and complete the attached membership form and bring, together with your cheque for the appropriate fee (as detailed above) payable to Buckhurst Hill u3a, to the next branch meeting or alternatively please send your form and cheque, to:-

Payment of membership fees is also possible via bank transfer - our account details are included on the application form.
Please make sure you follow the instructions regarding using the correct reference for your payment and also ensure you complete and sign all pages of the membership application form

VISITORS
Visitors and potential new members are allowed to attend two monthly branch meetings free of charge. Visitors may also attend an Interest Group once (as long as that Group does not have a waiting list), free of charge, other than for any session costs payable for hall hire and / or materials.
