"The tension mounts, the bag of tiles is nearly empty, and your three opponents are down to the last few numbers on their boards.  Who is the strategist, who the opportunist?  Who is going to go out first?  Your neighbour passes, has to take another tile.  Oh dear.  And now it’s your turn.  You place your black six with two spare sixes of different colours and that just leaves you with a red thirteen.  Can you use it to make a set, a series ..?  Yes, if you move this and this.   Or no..?   Cries fill the room - of excitement, of disappointment, of admiration for a canny move, of sympathy for the poor soul who can’t even get started.  But mostly it’s laughter.  Rummikub is such fun.  Can’t wait for the next meeting…... "

Rummikub is a tile-based game for two to four players, combining elements of the card game rummy and mahjong.

Rummikub brings people together! With brilliant simplicity, it provides hours of amusement. Each game is as different as the combinations of moves you choose to play. So come along and have a go and have fun!

We meet on the 2nd Monday each month from 2.30pm to 4.30pm in Buckhurst Hill.
