While our usual activities have been suspended, why not try a little craft at home which doesn't require any special equipment? Click on the links below.

General Craft Group Information
We meet at The Roding Valley Hall usually on the third Friday of the month from 10.15am to 12.40pm. Each month our group makes an item using a different craft technique. Although the format of the meeting is a mini workshop, the purpose of the group is more for members who enjoy making things to get together to be creative. This is a lovely, friendly group: you do not have to be good at or experienced at Craft... everyone is very welcome and we all help each other! At our next meeting (whenever that may be!) we shall be revisiting a favourite craft: silk painting. This is a really relaxing way to spend the morning!
Most of the materials will be provided but before any workshop a list of any basic equipment that you will need to bring will be sent out (e.g. scissors, sewing materials, pencils, craft knife). As I have to source some materials and buy them beforehand, you will need to reserve your place, so I know the quantities required. There will be a small charge for these special materials and also a contribution to be made towards the cost of hiring the Hall. Usually, a session costs about £5 in total, although this may change slightly from session to session, depending on the cost of the materials and number of crafters.
Tea and coffee with a biscuit are available for a contribution of 30p.
I regret to announce that the Craft Group is now full. This does happen from time to time. If anyone would like to find out more about joining our friendly Craft Group and join our very short waiting list, please message Fiona Lucas by clicking on the blue envelope!
