Bus Pass

The aim of the group is to enable members to enjoy a sociable day out using our bus passes (although it is open to everyone regardless of whether they have a pass). We meet once a month, usually on Fridays, from March to October and we have covered all parts of the county, from Harlow to Mersea, Saffron Walden to Rayleigh. We make the outward journey together and suggestions are made of things to do and places to visit during the day although everyone is free to do their own thing. We usually divide into smaller groups on arrival to pursue our individual interests. Details are provided for the return journey and people make their own way home when they are ready. No-one is left on their own.

During lockdown we met on Zoom but since then we have resumed getting out and about and this year we hope to have a full season of trips to include Warley Place, Burnham-on-Crouch, Saffron Walden, Southend-on-Sea and the Gibberd Garden at Harlow.
