Beer Appreciation

What can we say - a "cunning plan" or a reason for pleasant conversation, in pleasant surroundings with good company and the opportunity to enjoy a hop filled beverage.

Our aim is to visit recommended local hostelries, always mindful of the need for access to alternative transport, and compare their real ale options. Perhaps including the occasional brewery visit and local beer festival.

One original proposal is that we select a local bus route (alternative transport) and sample the inns along it's route - one stop a month!!

Plus we are finding that if all else fails we may be able to utilise the local community bus network or similar – but this may preclude some of the more rural hostelries.
