PHOTOGRAPHY

The group is open to anyone with an interest in photography, and who wants to improve their technique, develop their skills and generally get more out of their (digital) camera.

To be a member of the Photography Group, you don’t need to have an expensive DSLR! Any kind of camera is acceptable, The main expectation is that members bring enthusiasm, an interest in being creative with their camera, and in developing and sharing their skills and knowledge.

We meet monthly.
Alternate months we get together to share and critique our work, which is usually this is based on agreed ‘themes’.

We also post our photos for other group members to see and comment on, on our dedicated Flick site.

These sessions include constructive comments /advice on composition, and technical issues.

The intervening month we visit various rural and urban locations.

The group meets on the third Saturday of each month at 10.00am
Our ‘base’ is Little Waltham United Reform Church.

Whilst the current pandemic has been with us we have still been able to get out and about with our cameras at permitted social distances. We also have our own (restricted) group Flickr site enabling members to post photos for comment.
