Irish Ceili Dancing

'Ceili', pronounced KAY-lee, is an Irish word that means social gathering or dance party.

It is laid-back social dancing, accessible immediately to virtually everyone.
Ceili is also fun to watch, so we invite you all to join our party on the dance floor.

NB Ceili is not like Riverdance which is a show or display based on demanding “step dancing”.

We meet on the 2nd and 4th Wednesday of every month at Brixworth Library between 2.00 and 3.30 pm.

Ceili Dancing is a fun way to get exercise, enjoy Irish music, explore Irish culture, meet new people, and try a new form of dance.

Our last meeting is on Wednesday 25th January 2023.

If you would like to join our very friendly and fun group, then send a message to us, by clicking on "The Pigeon" icon.

We spend a lot of time laughing and don’t take it too seriously.
