Canterbury Tales, Henleaze
What it is: No previous knowledge of Chaucer is required, though an interest in learning about the era would be an advantage.
When it is: Monthly on 3rd Wednesday, 2-4pm.
Where it is: The Lounge, Maple Grange, Henleaze, BS9 4NF.
Starting with The General Prologue, and working our way through the tales, we will look at Chaucer both as a skillful artist and as a source of social documentation. Discussion will be relaxed, but hopefully informative.
