Politics: A Brave New World? - Redland
What: "What in the world is going on; and how much does it matter to us?"
A chance to discuss the political events likely to affect the world we all live in.
When: Thursdays, 10.30am - 12 noon, fortnightly.
Where: Redland, BS6 7EH. (Near the main entrance of Redland Green school.)
The group aims to have lively discussions about important political issues, domestic and international. The topics are agreed in advance and sessions are introduced/led by group members, often in pairs. To date we have discussed China, Russia, populism and nationalism, corruption and patriarchy, to name but a few. Future topics will include America, North Korea, globalisation and the role of social media as an information channel.

_Contact before coming. Wheelchair access. Residents parking zone but lots of places for paid parking. No 9 bus to Chapel Green Lane. About half a mile from Redland Green Station along Lovers Lane and Redland Court Road.
