Architecture, Henleaze
What it is: This group is aimed at increasing our knowledge and appreciation of the design and architectural construction of buildings, especially around the Bristol area, leading on to looking at modern day architecture and the issues of building today, as well as buildings in other parts of the world.
Where it is: The Meeting Room of the Henleaze United Reform Church. The entrance is just down Waterford Road in the new extension. HURC is opposite the Tesco Express petrol station. The No 2 bus goes down Henleaze Road and the nearest stop is Henley Grove. Waterford Road leads into Grange Park where there is ample parking.
When it is: Monthly on 4th Thursday of each month 2-4pm.
In warmer months we organise architectural walks around Bristol and in the future we are hoping to organise trips further afield.
