Spanish Int. Conversation - Central&N
What: Our main purpose is to learn to speak and socialise in Spanish in a 'live' situation, through imagined dialogues in situations encountered in likely conversations in Spain or South America. We work from approximately Intermediate level.
When is it: Weekly on Wednesday mornings from 10.30 to 12.
Where is it: The venues circulate between members' homes, and coffee shops - mainly from the Centre of Bristol up to the Redland area..
We use Pasos 2 Intermediate Spanish book for reading and listening comprehension, verbs and grammar with Spanish conversation all through the lesson. We also do homework. Sometimes we get interesting articles from a Spanish newspaper on the internet and discuss it when we meet, we also get Spanish songs and Spanish poetry, do the preparation at home then read and discuss them when we meet.
We occasionally meet in a coffee shop, or even go to a flamenco evening.
We would welcome a native Spanish speaker or someone who is very fluent, to join our group to guide us from time to time.
