Spanish Int. Conversation - North Bris.
What: Our main purpose is to learn to speak and socialise in Spanish in a 'live' situation, through imagined dialogues in situations encountered in likely conversations in Spain or South America. We work from approximately Intermediate level, and Spanish is spoken throughout.
When is it: Weekly on Wednesday mornings from 10.30 to 12, ongoing throughout the summer.
Where is it: At members' homes in BS1 - BS9.
We use "En March 4"post-intermediate level for reading and listening comprehension, verbs and grammar with Spanish conversation all through the lesson. We also download podcasts and text about Spanish politics, history and culture.
It's a friendly group who have social gatherings a few times a year, and occasionally meet in a coffee shop, or even go to a flamenco evening, cinema, etc.
We currently have no space for new members but if you'd be interested in joining, contact the convener - see below - to go onto a waiting list.
For further information or to contact the Group Convener, just click on 'send a message' above, or see the latest Annual Bulletin or News Sheet.
Contact before coming. As the location varies, it's best to check first if you have access difficulties.
