Spanish Post Intermediate Conversation
What it is: Our main purpose is to learn to speak and socialise in Spanish in a 'live' situation, through imagined dialogues in situations encountered in likely conversations in Spain or South America.
When it is: Weekly on Wednesday from 10.30 to 12, ongoing throughout the summer.
Where it is: At members' homes in BS1 - BS9.
Spanish is spoken all through the lesson. We use En Marcha 4 post intermediate level Spanish book. We download interesting articles from the internet on current affairs in Spain and around the world. This is discussed during the lesson. We also download podcasts and texts about Spanish politics, history and culture.
It's a friendly group who have social gatherings a few times a year, and occasionally meet in a coffee shop, or even go to a flamenco evening, cinema, etc.
We currently have no space for new members but if you'd be interested in joining, contact the convenor - see below - to go onto a waiting list.
For further information or to contact the Group Convenor, just click on the pigeon 'send a message' link, or see the latest Annual Bulletin or Newsletter.
Contact before coming. As the location varies, it's best to check first if you have access difficulties.
