Where is it: at Lake Road, Henleaze
Our gardening year begins with considering choosing seeds and plants and sowing or planting them out after choosing our growing medium and sites or containers. As the plants grow, we look at potting on, maintenance, protection and watering and then moving them into their final growing location as appropriate. The highlight of the year is harvesting our crops and storing/preserving them including freezer storage.
Each session will feature time to discuss 'best buys', outstanding achievements, the inevitable failures, and ends with a short Q & A session.
During the course of the year we may arrange visits to personal gardens or allotment plots.
