Family History, Henleaze
What it is: A friendly group where we discuss the latest sources of information to become available, and share tips and techniques, successes and stumbling blocks. This is not a course as such – members’ interests and experience are too diverse for that, but we can point beginners in the right direction and offer support. Sometimes we agree a theme to pursue for part of several meetings. We have books to borrow and magazines to share. Group members bring along ideas or objects to show and discuss.
When it is: The 1st Monday of the month from 2 to 4 pm, though we sometimes alter a date because of Bank Holidays.
Where it is: Wildcroft House, Henleaze BS9 4NQ. Near Waitrose.
There will be a small charge for refreshments.
