What it is: An enjoyable way of getting to know some of the lovely villages within easy reach of the City.
When it is: Monthly, usually on Wednesdays.
Where it is: As chosen by the members.
We drive to the chosen village independently arriving at 10.30am at a coffee shop if possible.
Already a couple of members will have researched the village history, the important buildings, past residents, and the trade and business of the village. They will also have visited in advance to plan the route for the walk around the village.
We stop for lunch at the village pub and the afternoon is free time to explore more.
Each member of the group will be required to research a village once a year. We obtain information from Bristol Central Library and the internet.
