What it is: This group offers a high level of technical discussion and demonstration.
When it is: Each 4th Tuesday in the month, from 09:45-11:15, followed by the Science & Engineering group meeting at 11:30.

Where it is: On-line, using Zoom.
We aim to allow a higher level of technical discussion and demonstration than is practical in the other Computing Groups. As examples, recent meetings have focussed on PostScript, VB Script, Cloud Computing, Movie editing, Converting analogue music to mp3, Visit to Bletchley Park, Updating PC hardware and reinstalling Windows, Google Sites, MIT Scratch and Python (both for the Raspberry Pi etc), Google Forms, Chromecast, Nexus tablet, Google+, NoSQL, EXIF data, BBC Micro:BIT, The Investigatory Powers Bill, Bitcoin and Blockchain, SAP, GDPR and NISD, Quantum Computing, Digital Audio, Serverless Computing, GSM networks, the Arduino computer, Augmented Reality, 5G networks, Quadcopters, Computational Photography
