Music Appreciation (Classical), Clifton
What: A group for people who enjoy classical music, and a way of expanding our knowledge of it. The music is usually classical, sometimes lighter, using a composer whose birthday falls within the month.
When is it: Fortnightly, on Wednesdays 2.00 to 4.00 p.m
Where is it: Maple Leaf Court, Richmond Terrace, Clifton.
We usually each bring along a favourite CD and discuss the music. We also have a large collection of CDs in our cupboard. This is a most enjoyable way to spend an afternoon and, perhaps, hear music by composers of whom you have never heard. A cup of tea and biscuit mid afternoon is very welcome.
