Tai Chi/ Qigong
What it is: This group will use the practice of movements guided by the breath for the purpose of mental, physical and emotional well-being, following the traditions of Tai- Chi /Qi Gong as a skillful application of mindfulness.
When it is: Weekly on Thursdays, 10am – 11.30am.
Where it is: On Zoom. It is hoped that the weekly sessions will be supported by outdoor meetups on Horfield Common subject to current regulations relating to the coronavirus pandemic.
The ‘forms’ that are developed will be tailored to the participants’ interests and may include some from - ‘The Eight Brocades’, ‘Self-Healing form’, ‘The sustaining breath’, ‘Appreciation Practice’, ‘Shibashi 1 / 2’. Home practice will be encouraged through sharing of Youtube links and other material.
