Racketball
What it is: Similar but easier than squash and ideal for older players thanks to the large bouncy ball - You may have seen the full page article in Third Age Matters page 52 of the spring edition by Bradford U3A who have been playing since 2012 with an average age of mid 60's but one 83 year old - Yorkshire now have 12 U3A racketball groups!
When it is: On Mondays at 2pm.
Where it is: Kingsdown Sports Centre.
We are up and running and welcome more players. Maximum number depends on mummber of courts available to book but if someone wishes to become a member after giving it a go they can be accommodated.
Not meeting at present but I will contact members once lockdown permits restarting.
For more information get in touch with Ric Dobson using the pigeon "send a message" link. He has a spare racket if you would like to try.
