Everyone has a voice - You may have a wealth of memoirs, or are you a teller of tales? Perhaps you prefer to use verse! Writing is fun and joining a writing group is a wonderful way to enjoy sharing your interest with others of a like mind or enter a world of pure fantasy.
Prompts are set on the 1st and 3rd Tuesdays of the month. Entries to be received via email or post the day prior the due date.
Writings can be in any format - short story, poetry or prose up to 1,500 words maximum or 36 lines for a poem. Of course, if you prefer to do something else, that is entirely up to the individual.
Our next prompt 'Smoking' (cigarettes, cigars, vapes) has been set by Janet Davies, and is due to reach me by Tuesday, 7th May 2024
Writings are sent by Wednesday, along with comments on previous writings, all of which will help you develop your writing style.
