Ale/Wine/Spirit Appreciation – see list of dates below - right up to December 2024
I have run out of breweries to visit BUT thought we could all join in a PUB SURVEY of our town and surrounding area to see how they cater for people our age.
We need to formulate a questionnaire type document i.e. parking, food on sale, full of juke box/gambling machines, guest ales available, seating areas, etc.

We can start by trying to visit at least one pub per month, maybe two and see how we get on. The first visit was at The Coach in Bridgend in January. I was billy no mates that evening. The second was at The Hunters Lodge, Brackla at 8pm on the 19th March 2024 and the third visit was at the Haywain, Brackla at 8pm on the 29th March 2024 as I will be away most of April. The last two were typical "estate" pubs.
As we go through the year, we will try and alternate areas and hopefully more of you can join in then.

21st June - The Lynffi Arms, Tondu
30th August - The Llangeinor Arms, Bettws (up on top of the mountain, good views on a summer night)
13th September - The Swan Inn, Aberkenfig
27th September - The Llangwynedd Arms, Broadlands
25th October - The Mackworth Arms, Laleston
8th November - The Oldcastle Inn, Nolton Street, Bridgend
22nd November - The Coity Castle, Tondu Road, Bridgend
13th December - The Corvo Lounge, Adare Street, Bridgend
