Our next walk will be on Tuesday, 16th April, when we will be visiting Cwmparc & Treorchy in a crossover with Heritage visits and trails.
We will meet in the car park at Ogmore Vale Life Centre, Cwrt Gwalia, off Aber Road, CF32 7AJ, at 10.30am, and then take as few cars as possible over the Bwlch Mountain to Treorchy. We will drive up to the Cwmparc Blitz Memorial for a short visit, then back towards Treorchy for a walk around the town. The terrain will be pavements and footpaths (sometimes uneven) and the distance 3 miles or less. There are various cafes in Treorchy, and we could pop in to 'Vintage & Retro toogoodtowaste' for a coffee too (and a loo break!)
If it is raining heavily on the day the walk will not go ahead but you may not be notified of cancellation – please exercise your judgement. If it’s showers, drizzle, light rain, then it will.
This promises to be one of our more unusual walks. I look forward to seeing as many of you as possible.
