Architecture and Landscape
What this Group does - Each session is self-contained and covers an area of broad architectural or landscape interest - for example local buildings, famous architects, historic landscapes. In any one session, we always aim to learn and see something new and interesting. A typical session will have 35 minutes well-illustrated presentation and 20 minutes group discussion.

20 February, 2.30pm - Britain's twenty most popular views - Presented by Mervyn Bramley
In 2018, BT and Samsung ran a nationwide survey among thousands of smartphone users to find which views in the UK landscape the public liked most. Those taking part could select their favourites from a large pool of photos which themselves had been chosen by experienced travel agents, tour operators and hoteliers. So lets see and discuss the top twenty - a few surprises and quite a lot of perennial favourites.
