We the Outings Team ~ Sheila Mead, Rebecca Fuller and Heather Hurcomb invite you to join us for another year of Places to Go and Things to Do with lots of fun and laughter along the way.

We welcome you on our trips but must point out that your place is not secured until full payment is received
All payments are non-refundable BUT we will do our best to find a replacement for you if you are unable to go on the outing booked.
We ask that you let us know as soon as possible if you are NOT able to join us on a trip so that we have as much time as possible to find a replacement.

NEW RELEASE NOW BOOKING LONDON THEATRE TRIP/FREE TIME TO EXPLORE MARCH 2020

WITNESS FOR THE PROSECUTION Our first booking for 2020 by Agatha Christie THURSDAY 26th MARCH
THE COUNTY HALL, SOUTH BANK LONDON.
Matinee performance: 2.30pm
Full cost: £55. members ~ £57 non members (payable at time of booking non-
refundable)
Departure: Braintree bus park 8am

The setting is the perfect surroundings for a Courtroom Drama - the tiered, oak panelled 300 seater Council Chamber of the old County Hall on the South Bank.
The case we watch unfold is the trial of Leonard Vale who stands accused of MURDER and, if found guilty, will be HUNG. The Judge and his Black Cap await the Jury's verdict- GUILTY or NOT GUILTY?

On arrival in London we will be dropped by the theatre and you will have c.3 hours to explore the South Bank. We will be 5 mins walk to The Eye~ around 10 -15 mins to Festival Hall, Hayward Gallery and National Theatre and of course there are plenty of places along the South Bank for coffee, a snack or lunch. Walking in the opposite direction, you could visit the Florence Nightingale Museum or you may prefer a slightly longer walk- over Westminster Pier- to Churchill's Cabinet War Rooms. Enjoy whatever you decide, pray for fine weather and return to the theatre by 2.00pm ready for the performance.
