Webmaster/Deputy Webmaster
Responsibilities

  • To liaise with the National Site Builder Support team who maintain the hosting service for our website and familiarise yourself with the Site’s capabilities.
  • To provide the required support to update the BandD U3A website.
  • To liaise with the GOs to update their content on the website.
  • To provide training/support for new Webmasters and Deputy Webmasters.
  • Be aware of any safeguarding issues that may arise and follow through the appropriate channels as deemed necessary for resolution.

Commitment

  • 2hrs once a month to attend a committee meeting.
  • An average 2 hours per week to undertake minor updates.
  • An average of 5 hours prior to Membership Renewal (once a year).
  • When required, provide support to rectify issues caused by our external host.

Skills Required

  • Basic computer literacy with internet access, ability to send/receive emails and ability to manage photographs/attachments prior to uploading onto the website.
