Groups Co-ordinator
Responsibilities

  • Being the first point of contact for Group Organisers (GOs).
  • Liaising with the Committee about Group issues.
  • Encouraging development of new groups and assisting them with getting started.
  • Distributing information to GOs about running their groups legally and safely.
  • Supporting any groups that are struggling and help to resolve any disputes.
  • Pool ideas between GOs on how to run effective groups.
  • Organise an annual social event for GOs.
  • Be aware of any safeguarding issues that may arise and follow through the appropriate channels as deemed necessary for resolution.

Commitment

  • 2hrs once a month to attend a committee meeting.
  • An average of 3 hours per month to liaise with GOs.

Skills Required

  • Basic computer literacy with internet access to send/receive emails and access Beacon (training to be provided where required).
