Groups Co-ordinator
Responsibilities
- Being the first point of contact for Group Organisers (GOs).
- Liaising with the Committee about Group issues.
- Encouraging development of new groups and assisting them with getting started.
- Distributing information to GOs about running their groups legally and safely.
- Supporting any groups that are struggling and help to resolve any disputes.
- Pool ideas between GOs on how to run effective groups.
- Organise an annual social event for GOs.
- Be aware of any safeguarding issues that may arise and follow through the appropriate channels as deemed necessary for resolution.
Commitment
- 2hrs once a month to attend a committee meeting.
- An average of 3 hours per month to liaise with GOs.
Skills Required
- Basic computer literacy with internet access to send/receive emails and access Beacon (training to be provided where required).
