All meetings/outings are cancelled during the current pandemic
The Garden Group which started July 2018 is a friendly group from novices to experienced gardeners. From Spring to early Autumn we visit gardens, occasionally with our own private tours, also find unusual plant sales where many members have the opportunity to purchase plants not seen in the average garden centre. During the winter months we hold a meeting in the School Room, Cleadon Village, on Tuesday afternoons 1:30-3.pm when we have a variety of speakers, floral demonstrations, a slide show of unusual gardens, plant sale, starting the year with a planning meeting.
In April 2021 we have a small group booked to visit the tulip fields in Amsterdam. These past months we have a regular email with lovely photos and information from members sharing news and developments in their gardens giving us all inspiration whilst keeping us all connected.
