Batcombe House - August 2023
Having navigated our way to the small village of Batcombe we found the secluded home of Libby Russell, garden designer. 
We were greeted by the Head Gardener, Tom, who guided us around the beautiful garden with all its variety. Many different garden 'rooms' were on display, along with wild flower areas before finishing up in a more open area incorporating large herbaceous borders, edging the amphitheatre and facing the house. We were then treated to tea or coffee (and cake!) by the pool surveying the gardens and local countryside. 
As only small groups were allowed we split our party into a morning and an afternoon session in order that we could accommodate most of our members who wished to go!
A warm welcome in lovely surroundings on a beautiful summer's day - what more could one wish for
