After working, living, and retiring in Germany, my wife Jane and I decided that Blandford was the place to be and we moved here in 2016. We soon discovered U3A and have made many friends. We play table tennis, stroll, enjoy historic visits and garden visits, and I go along to the painting sessions.
I was an engineer by profession and designed computer hardware for ICL, Fujitsu, and Fujitsu Siemens which is the reason I ended up in Germany.
When not on a U3A activity I am most likely to be found in the garden or greenhouse, or volunteering on Swanage Railway.
