Bishop's Cleeve

Welcome to our u3a

Bishop's Cleeve u3a is a friendly organisation offering a range of member led groups allowing people to follow their hobbies and interests, study new topics and enjoy the companionship of others. It's a good place to meet people and make new friends.

Costs are minimal because our activities are organised by members, who share their skills and expertise. There are numerous different study, creative and leisure interest groups meeting regularly. A monthly meeting for all members is held at which there is a talk of general interest (see Events page for details). Most meetings are held within Bishop's Cleeve and Woodmancote.

There is a national magazine, email national newsletters and a local newsletter. Details of these can be found on the Newsletters page.

To find out more about the u3a movement, take a look at the Third Age Trust website.

u3a membership is open to anyone no longer in full-time employment. The current annual subscription cost is shown on the application form and this allows you to join any of the interest groups. (Some groups charge an additional cost towards room hire, etc).

You can apply and pay your subscription online using this Online Application Form.

Alternatively, you can download a hard copy of the Membership Application Form.

Terms and condtions of membership and all policies and procedures can be found on the Policies and Procedures page.

If you are a full member of another u3a and would like to join one of our groups you are entitled to do so as a reciprocal member without any charge. Please contact our Membership Secretary via the Contact page to provide the necessary registration information.

Please contact our Membership Secretary via the Contact page if you have any queries about membership.
