WHEN3rd Monday of the month at 10.15 am for 10.30

14 completed questionnaires received. The responses are now being analysed.

A group meeting has been set up at our usual date and time of Monday, 18th October at 10.15 at our usual venue of Escomb Village Hall. The questionnaire results will be shared with you but the main purpose of this meting is to discuss the future of this group. A show of hands at the end of the meeting will make that decision.

I might be willing and able to lead/facilitate this group in the future depending upon the questionnaire results and what members want. Please see Brian's recent mails regarding this.

Do you wish to know more about your ancestors - where they came from and how they lived? If so, then beginner or experienced alike will benefit from this enthusiastic group who share knowledge and provide friendly advice on all aspects of family history. The meeting subject is chosen in advance and can be led by the group leader or a member of the group. Meetings are occasionally held in other venues such as a recent trip to Darlington Library where group members were able to explore the family history facilities that libraries offer.

We meet on the third Monday of the month at 10.15 a.m. at Escomb Village Hall. There is a small fee of £2 that covers the cost of using the hall. Newcomers will be most welcome.
