Beer and Banter
This select Group was formed in acknowledgment of those who, as well as appreciating fine beers, enjoy a lively discussion as they quaff their ale. Nothing too contentious though, and avoiding those perilous pitfalls of politics and religion. After all, the emphasis is on enjoyment.
We normally meet every 4 to 6 weeks on a Monday, from around 7pm, at The Grasshopper in Sandon Road, Hillside.
For a modest fee, The Grasshopper provides a platter of meats and cheeses to accompany the ale. There are usually around six beers to choose from, ranging from the light to the heavy, from local to the slightly more obscure beverages.
