Ten Pin Bowling

The ten pin bowling group meets at Bicester Bowls on the 1st and 3rd Friday each month. It is a relaxed friendly mixed ability group suitable for beginners and more experienced bowlers. The group is growing rapidly with up to 26 people attending each meeting. We hire 4 lanes which costs £5 per person. We play two games with a break for tea and coffee between games. It is a chance to get together, chat and have a lot of fun. Bowling ramps are available for less able members.

Although we still have our fair share of ducks (no pins down) we are getting more strikes (all the pins down with one ball) and spares (all the pins down with two balls).

Congratulations to Bob Clark our latest star player for scoring the group’s first turkey, three strikes in a row!

I would like to take this opportunity to thank all our members for their Friendship, co-operation and sporting attitude, since I became Group Leader last July. Your a great bunch, well done!
