Week 11

Many thanks go to our judges, thirty one of our members who took the trouble to cast their votes for their favourites.
The overwhelming winner was Clive with eight votes for first place and a further seven placing his photo "Looking across the Dee Valley" second or third. Mo's ambitious bluetit finished in a strong second place with no less than seven first place votes. Iola's appealing kittens photo was chosen in the top three by twelve voters to finish a close third. Member's tastes vary widely and eleven of the photos were voted in first place by someone!
We had introduced an additional "wild card" vote this week so that members could choose a picture which appealed to them even if it was not a "best photograph". Several people picked the same photo they had made their first place choice and this ensured that Clive's photo gained the most votes in this category too.
