Many thanks go to our judges, twenty nine of our members who took the trouble to cast their votes for their favourites.
The overwhelming winner was Pete with nine votes for first place and a further ten placing his photo "The serene Dee" second or third. Clive's moody "Light and shade" finished in a strong second place with six firsts and four runner up votes. It was a dead heat for third place with Helen's intriguing question "How many ribs does a canoe have?" attracting similar support to Sue's romantic picture of her playful "Dog in buttercups".
Once again there was a wide range of subjects and styles among the photos and our members votes showed that their tastes are equally wide. More than half the total votes cast were shared by the top four pictures, the rest showed their support for their favourites among the other eighteen entries. Nine of the twenty two competing pictures were the top choice of someone and nobody voted for their own photo!
