This new group will meet weekly, on Fridays, from 10 to 11 am, in the Newcastle Building Society, Hide Hill, Berwick.
As Maria Fuentes, the Group Leader, says:
"Spanish (or Castilian) is a Romance language that originated in the Iberian Peninsula and today has hundreds of millions of native speakers in Spain and the Americas. It is a global language and is the world’s second-most spoken native language after Mandarin Chinese.
And it is now official that learning a second language is a way of keeping dementia at bay, so why not give it a try?"
If you'd like more information you can email Maria via the 'envelope' symbol on this page.
