201810 - Two Tree Island

We visited Two Tree Island at Leigh-on-Sea on a warm, breezy very pleasant day.

I had never walked this path and it led us to a couple of hides which produced a range of birds. Although some were a way off we managed to spot Curlew, Knot, Oyster Catcher, Redshank, Teal, Lapwing, various gulls [we are not good at identifying them] and some sort of unidentified brown duck!

The scenery around was lovely and more like June/July. We sat outside at the Golf Café for refreshments before setting off home.

Thanks to Lyn and Alan Aldridge for the photos.
