202406 - River Lea Cruise

Thursday 27 June 2024: River Lea Cruise

For our third outing this year, we are planning a coach trip to Ware, in Hertfordshire, involving a lunch, followed by a two-and-a-half-hour private cruise on the river Lea.

We have been advised that there are a few steps involved both leaving the restaurant and boarding the boat, but that the steps are no more difficult than the steps on a coach.

It would be greatly appreciated if you could advise your menu selection when you make your coach reservation - Menu below

Considerable time is invested in laying out the seating on the coach. It would be greatly appreciated, if you wish to sit with a specific person, or group, can one person please make the booking, supplying names, pick-up points, mobile numbers, (and any dietary requirements, where food is included). This ensures that we are aware of the seating requirements before we establish the seating plan?

Being told of seating requirements separately, can be very frustrating and if the coach fills quickly, by the time the second person, or persons, contact us we may already have a reserve list.

We will generally allocate seats in booking order from the front to rear of the coach. Should you have specific seat requirements, (due to mobility issues for example), please advise at the time of booking and we will do our best to meet your requirements, but it cannot be guaranteed.

Please note seats are only guaranteed if full payment is made by the “Latest Payment Date” above, otherwise they will be offered to other people.

Please be aware, if you cancel after making full payment, and the trip takes place, we will not be able to refund the cost of your tickets, as we will have made a commitment to the coach company and any other companies involved. However, if there is a reserve list, and time, we will do our best to find members willing to buy your tickets.

Also, please be aware that the current ticket cost quoted above is correct at this point in time. However, due to the current global issues this trip could incur a surcharge before the trip date.

Please do not hesitate to contact us if you have any questions.
