Classical Music Appreciation
"Music is for everyone because it is a natural part of daily living. You can derive a physical lift from listening to classical music. No formal training is required for its enjoyment. Maybe you've never been present at a concert or an opera performance. It doesn't matter. Humming or singing tunes - even without knowing their names - show that you take to music instinctively. Our reaction to music is spontaneous, not planned. When you share with us you will become a knowledgeable receptive listener and come away satisfied, fulfilled, refreshed, elated and even sensually provoked. ".
This group meets on the second Tuesday of every month, 10.30am-12.30pm. in Newtonbreda Presbyterian Church Hall (corner of Ormeau and Knockbreda roads - car park entrance on Knockbreda).
Acting Convenor: Keith Thompson
|Dates for your Diary|
|Sat Oct 31st||The Classical Music Appreciation Group continues to function with the circulation of biographies of leading composers and musical listening suggestions along with key listening points. Although virtual meetings are an option these would be restricted to discussions because of poor sound quality using all the various platforms.|
