Wednesday 1st May 2019
We are pleased to welcome 1 new member to our meeting today.
In Case of Emergency cards are still available and if you haven’t yet checked out the new web site and don’t know where to find it , then see me for the address.
Speakers Coming Soon –
At the Addison on 21st May – Steve Dimmer will talk to you about the origins of nursery rhymes in Rhymes with Reason and at the Ath. on 5th June Karen Thurman will discuss Photography as Art, showing how photography has mirrored trends and movements in the art world.
Contact the Speakers’ Secretary, Mark Haines for more information.
A new request for a volunteer – or maybe two of you could do the job together. As you know annually, we carry out the PAT testing of all our electrical equipment. This year we wondered if we had any members who would be willing to do this for us. You don’t have to be a qualified electrician to take on this role but you do have to be a Competent Person, - if you are familiar with the requirements of PAT testing then you will understand this and what is required better than I do. – If this is something you could do then please speak to either Sheila or me.
