Herts Network are part of a Shared Learning Project with University of East Anglia devoted to discovering and understanding the past, present and future of orchards in Eastern England. It is currently in its third year and working with volunteers across the East of England to survey and record old orchard sites. Bedford of course had Laxton orchards so if anyone is interested in assisting in this survey, Michael Barker, our Herts Network representative has more information. Please see him after this meeting.

On a trial basis we are asking people to help put away the chairs at the end of this meeting, as the Ath have increased considerably the cost for them to do this.
