Instruments

Forget discordant school recorder lessons! Come and join us on a Monday, for a pleasant afternoon, making music, with like minded people.

We play a variety of recorders, from the little, high pitched Sopranino, to the lovely, mellow, tones of the Contra bass. The music ranges from early 17th century dances, to West End hits, and everything in between.

You do need to be a fairly competent player, even if your experience dates back to your junior school. It all comes back very quickly, once you start playing!

Come to the Wren Room, at St. Marks, 2.00pm, for a taster session, and join in. You will need to bring your instument and a music stand!
