We meet on the third Friday of every month from 10am until 12 at Bedale Bowling Club.

There is a small charge to cover the cost of hiring the clubhouse.

The Family History Group consists of members who are beginning or in the early stages of researching their family back in time, to those who have been delving into their family's past for several years. We share our experiences and joys of discovery and help each other when difficulties or stumbling blocks arise. There can be sessions of advice on many aspects of research or discussions on chosen subjects, whatever appeals to the members. Finding out more about our background is truly enjoyable and even could become obsessive! Online research is not undertaken at meetings.

Bedale Bowling Club is situated in Wycar immediately behind the Co-op on the High Street. Walk right through the shop and through the car park at the back. In front of you is the wooden fence surrounding the bowling green. To the right, up a short slip road, you will see an entrance gate in the fence.
