English Country Dancing has been in existence for 500 years and is enjoyed by both sexes dancing together in sets.
Our popular and lively group performs traditional and retro country dances of which there are 12000 in existence!
The MC or caller (you can be trained to do this) tells you what to do and one turn of each dance is always walked through to ensure the group is comfortable with the dance.
The caller will often call the first few turns of the dance with music if needed. You don’t have to do clever things with you feet!
The music is tuneful, uniquely English and almost never heard via the media.
