Barston

Welcome

Barston U3A was established in 2007 and is one of nearly 1000 U3A groups nationally (which together have over 360,000 members) to encourage the continuing self-education and recreation for those who are no longer in full time employment.

We are a small, friendly group who have a monthly meeting at 2.30 pm on the second Tuesday of the month. We meet at the Barston Memorial Institute in Barston - opposite the Bull's Head pub and next to St. Swithin's Church. We have approximately 60 members.

As well as our monthly meetings we have around 12 interest groups (listed in the 'Groups' section) covering a wide range of subjects and activities. Members are encouraged to form new interest groups and the list changes over time as support dictates.

Our annual subscription is £22 per person
