Science
The SCIENCE Group meets every 2nd Tuesday of the month 2 to 4 pm at the Methodist Hall Rhododendron Ave Sticklepath. We are comprised mostly of Members from a varying Teaching/Engineering/Technical background, but are all united in wanting to expand our knowledge of Science related subjects.
Our speakers are usually sourced locally, but have occasionally been derived from within our Membership which has been steadily growing since our inauguration in Jan 2016.
We try to arrange at least one visit each year, have 'something special' in December and take a month off in the Summer.
Subjects tackled to date have ranged from A stronomy to W ater --- we've not yet had topic beginning with 'Z'----has anyone out there got a background in Zoology ?? '
