Groups

Our U3A is for people who enjoy social contacts, want to keep active in mind and body, and are not in full-time employment. Our members come together in groups to study/enjoy any subject/pastime which they find interesting. Most of our Groups are run on a regular weekly or monthly basis by members in homes or local halls, all of which are accessible by car or bus. Some use professional facilities, and are more costly.
Several of the local U3As are linked and we have reciprocal arrangements whereby members can join groups run by Taw and Torridge for example.

If you have a query about any group or you are interested in forming a new group, please contact our Groups Co-ordinator through the Contacts page. If you have a query about a specific Group, first please check the Group page to see if the Group Leader has agreed to receive emails. If not, please contact the Groups Co-ordinator.

We also take part in occasional theatre visits, coach trips to country houses, stately homes and gardens, and occasional special interest events. Details of these can be found on the Events page.
